There was a fire in the office today. Some electrical board in the basement lit up. It had rained pretty heavily in the afternoon and I was complaining about the rain. I had told everyone I hated the rain because everything goes haywire when it rains. There’s no power, no internet, the traffic is horrible, etc. etc.

We all came outside (the smoke was incredible thick) and stood in front of the office. We called a fire engine, and I was extremely impressed with how quickly it got there (under 5 minutes).

Fortunately, there was no major damage and nobody was hurt. Once we realized this, we decided to have some fun and took an Ellen style selfie in front of the fire engine. Considering that this was my first attempt at a selfie, I think it turned out ok.
